Can a mobile phone be used for just listening to music?
January 30, 2009
As I used my landlline phone for calling. I was wondering if I purchase a mobile phone for the added features for music, video and photos would the quality be as good? Maybe a better purchase than a mp4 player.

My phone is pretty bad for MP3 playing, the phone itself won’t recognise my music, so I have to go through the file manager to play it. The headphone socket isn’t the standard size so I had to get an adapter, which comes out whenever it feels like it. When you’re playing music, there is a constant hissing sound.
My phone isn’t designed for that purpose, but read some reviews before you buy one, I sold my iPod and started using my phone and I regret it now.

yeah you can, but certain phones have a better music player than others. Like the Sony Ericsson Walkman phones.
